Math 1

Math 1 is the first course of a three course sequence including Math 1, 2, and 3. This will be a one year course which satisfies the Common Core Standards Integrated Pathway model. It will strengthen and build on students' previous knowledge in middle school algebra and geometry. This course will focus on algebraic expressions, linear functions, some basic exponential functions, exponents, solving equations, geometric congruence proof and construction methods, finding volumes, areas, descriptive statistics, connecting algebra and geometry through reasoning and proof as well as real life applications.
