Statistics and Probability

This course explores introductory independent and dependent probability as well as introductory combinatorics.  In addition, it explores sampling and experimentation ethics, theory, and techniques.  Students then become proficient in descriptive statistics focusing on measures of central tendency, measures of variation and confidence intervals before moving on to various methods of hypothesis testing in inferential statistics.  The course offers topics, projects and tasks drawn straight from current events.
